REFLECTIONS

There's a mirror outside of me

Reflecting everything I see

So all that I can be

Is my personality

The world I see outside

Is hiding deep inside

Me, myself and I

The world is really mine

There's a universe in me

Full of what I've realized

So all that I can be

Is only what I've recognized

To each his own is what I mean

It's really quite that clean

Different strokes for different folks

A separate reality

And the light that travels from your eyes

All comes back to you

Like everything you do

You can't escape the truth

When it's buried deep in you

It all comes back to you

Like everything you do

And the time

That lies between us two

Divides our point of view

When everything I see

Is still on it's way to you

But all you'll see

Is you.
